Recently Karate org. IFFSK ‘s Malvern Hillary /Bellair/Chatsworth Dojo Karate Instructor Neeran Ramcherron was summoned to appear in the Durban Magistrates court on fraud charges. The said charges pertaining to fraudulent grading exams and certification conducted by Neeran Ramcherron was laid at the SAPS by his former Chief Instructor Sonny Pillay Hanshi of SKISA.
The said IFFSK Karate org., Instructor N. Ramcherron who confirmed in the Durban Magistrate court his current membership of IFFSK karate federation (headed by Sensei Eric Govender) entered into an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) acknowledging that he had brought the SKISA Brand into disrepute and subsequently paid compensation of R8000 for grading karate students (March 2019) when he was not entitled to do so moreover he made the students pay a grading fee for the said grading’s.
In addition N. Ramcherron rendered an apology to Hanshi Sonny Pillay for his fraudulent activities and for bringing the SKISA Brand into disrepute.
“KSA will continue to monitor fraudulent behaviour such as the above thereby ensuring sound moral ethics amongst its leaders remains a priority “, concluded Shihan Ben Mare Chairman of the Dan Rank and Ethics Commission.
